Meet Jackson and Nick, these guys are quite the pair. They are about 2.5 years old and were found wandering a neighborhood in the Duluth. They were not micro chipped but both had been neutered — meaning they had to have belonged to someone. The lady who found them tried everything – posted flyers, placed ads and contacted animal control and area vet clinics. After she had no response she called us. We also kept them for a week before placing them up for adoption. Now these two guys, who are deeply devoted to one another, have been adopted. Or maybe they just finally convinced their foster mom that they weren’t leaving – either way, they are home. Mom showed endless patience and love, endeavoring to housetrain both of them to give them the best possible chance for a new home. In the end, they stole her heart and she couldn’t let them go. In addition, mom’s job was restructured allowing her to be home a good deal of the time. She took them to Adoption Day with the outward intention of letting them go, but she just couldn’t. Now Nick is Bailey because he is the color of Bailey’s Irish Creme, and Jackson is Bentley because he is the golden color of the fine leather interior of a Bentley Coupe!
