I had a stretch of bad luck, but that changed when I met my very patient foster family. You see, not only did my owner die but my canine wingman, Monty, escaped from the animal shelter van right before we were checking into the AGA vet. He was just recently found and I’m so grateful for AGA for not giving up on him. (See Monty’s story) Because of all that confusion, I seemed to keep a close eye on most of the men I’d met lately. My foster dad spent a lot of time at home with me and he was kinda fun to hang out with. I loved to catch 40 winks during the day, dreaming about my forever home that is now in my future. My foster parents took me on a long ride to Augusta to meet my new family. Still missing Monty, I was so happy when a 11 year old golden named Honey came to greet me when we arrived. I also have a new mom, grandma and grandpa who also greeted me with open arms. After showing them my fetching skills and letting grandpa know that he was ok everyone knew I found my forever home. Thanks to AGA for trusting me and showing me so much love and finding Monty. I can now focus on my new life in Augusta!
