Nikka and Jocko are a wonderful golden pair! Both are purebred golden retrievers who come from Murphy, NC. Nikka is an 8 year old female and Jocko is a 10 year old male. The former owners had to move and the new landlord refused to allow them to bring Nikka and Jocko with them. The are spayed and neutered, housebroken and simply perfect! The family tried to find a home for the pair and were actually told to just have them euthanized due to their age by an all breed rescue! Fortunately the Golden Retriever Club of America National Rescue Committee came to their help! They contacted us because they knew we wouldn’t turn our back on this pair, a plan was set and after a ride to Georgia with a little the wind in their faces (through open windows) these two have a new home! Nikka and Jocko will share their home with a new mom and dad (one dog for each) and a cat. Although the cat has called dibs on mom & dad whenever she wants. after showing them who was there first they decided that having a cat around was kind of fun and now they are starting to bond! Now with the dog park close by, daily walks, a great family and a terrific home Nikka and Jocko will live out their remaining years together!
