Meet Noel, a young female golden retriever who we think can’t be more than 2 years old. Her story is a very sad one. She was found wandering the back roads of Alabama. She had just given birth to 6 puppies. She was brought to the local shelter where she nursed her puppies (all black) and watched them being adopted. No one came for her. So we did. She had heartworms and we found a wonderful foster mom to nurse her back to health. Then we found out she had allergies and her foster mom gave her shots and special baths. In fact, there was nothing her foster mom didn’t do for her. She even adopted her! We think it is a perfect match — sorta like soulmates — they are both kind, gentle and understand what unconditional love is all about.
