Hi there, I’m Nova, a five-year-old golden-hearted girl looking for my second chance at forever. Life changed when my family had to move out of state and couldn’t take me and my sister, Nala, with them. Thankfully, AGA welcomed us with open arms, and now I’m hoping someone will open their heart to me, too. I’m currently looking for a Foster-to-Adopt home while I complete heartworm treatment, made possible by a generous sponsor, Gail Furniss. I’m proud to say I’m a perfect house guest, no chewing, barking, or rummaging through things. I’m affectionate, gentle, and happiest when I’m near my people. While I can get along with other dogs outside the home, I need slow, thoughtful introductions to feel safe and comfortable. I would prefer to have my space and people to myself, so I’m looking for a home where I can be your one and only. I’m still learning to feel calm and confident in new places, so I need a patient and strong owner who will help me feel safe and loved. I’m not an early riser, and I recently learned how to jump on the bed, and let me tell you, it’s the perfect place for snuggles.
