Hi y’all, I’m Nova 2, a sweet, sensitive soul with a heart as big as my love for Dolly Parton. I’m about 18 months old, 56 pounds, and learning all about the world with a little bit of wonder… and a little bit of worry. You see, my life changed recently when my family had to make some big changes, and they knew I deserved a home where someone could be there for me more often. That’s when AGA stepped in to help me find the perfect match.
I’m great with other dogs (I really need a confident dog buddy to help show me the ropes), love kids (I grew up with a 4-year-old!), and I’m even cat-approved. I’m house-trained, do well in my crate, and love to swim and run when I feel fully comfortable. I won’t go potty on a leash right now (I’m just too unsure outside on walks), so a fenced yard would help me feel more secure and relaxed. My foster says I’m very sweet and kind-hearted, but I’ve got some anxiety I’m still working through. New situations make me timid, and I get worried when I’m left alone, so I’d love a home where someone is around most of the time. I’m trying to be brave, I really am!
And here’s a little fun fact: I love Dolly Parton! One day, my foster was playing music during a workout, and when Dolly came on, something lit up inside me. I started trotting and dancing, and every time they play her songs now, I do it again. What can I say? A girl knows good music when she hears it.
