I am Nova, a four-year-old golden girl with a big heart and an even bigger hope for a forever home. When my family had to move, they could not take me with them, but AGA welcomed me with open arms, and now I’m looking for someone special to help me start my next chapter. Right now, I am looking for a foster-to-adopt home while I complete my heartworm treatment and eventually settle in for good. I’m house-trained, have good manners in the home, and love being around people. I’m affectionate, sweet, and just want someone who will give me the time and love I deserve. I will need a strong owner who is patient and can work with me to feel more confident and calm. Because of this, I’m looking for a home where I’m the only pet (and no cats, please!). Older, dog-savvy kids are okay, and a fenced yard would be a huge plus since I am still learning how to be less anxious in new environments.
