I feel so safe now. My life hasn’t always been a safe one but my new mom and dad are taking good care of me. I’m only two but sometimes I felt much older because I had to live outside ever since I was a puppy at my first home. I had two good dog friends and a kitten to keep me company but then my family said they couldn’t keep me any more. So I came to AGA and they found out I had heartworms from not getting medicine to keep them from getting in my heart. A wonderful dog lover named Agie Wesolowski sent me the money so my doctor could buy the medicine I needed to get rid of them. I don’t even know Agie but she is my favorite angel now. Now I am living inside but if I want to play I have a yard with a fence that won’t shock me like I used to have. Ugh- I didn’t like that at all! And no more bad dogs can get in and hurt me like they did before. It’s just the three of us and sometimes we have grandchildren that visit and we all go on vacations together. That’s where you just play and have treats and maybe swim. I’ll take my tennis ball with me. This is so much better than the way it used to be- I love my family. Your friend, Oakley
