I am about 7 years old and once I belonged to someone but he went away and left me with his mom and dad and they couldn’t take care of me. I almost ended up in the shelter but AGA heard about me and asked me if they could help. Well, I jumped at the chance! When the doctor checked me over they found out I had heartworms and I needed to raise $500 to pay for my medicine. If only I had been given the medicine every moth to keep that from happening but it didn’t happen. The Wells family helped me by turning into angels and sending me the money. They love dogs and have helped lots of others too so I knew I was very lucky. Actually, I think they are angels all the time and just turn into people in between helping sick dogs. I’m pretty sure that’s right. Now I am in my new family and working very hard to make mom and dad smile. See, they had to say good-bye to their other dog and were sad and lonesome for him. Now I am here and I am going to do my best to make them happy again. I’m smiling a lot to show them how to do it and I think it’s working! Thank you to everyone- Ogie (now Toby)
