They called me Pebbles because no one knew my real name. They thought I was 4 years old. I was in a shelter in Alabama and there are some wonderful people there who were so concerned for me that they called some other wonderful people to come and get me. Those were the AGA folks here in Atlanta. A lady came to take my picture and she said my coat was a beautiful color- kind of red-gold like the leaves get in the Fall. She said my wavy coat was gorgeous and that I had a sweet way about me. I was a girl who LOVED to be right with you. The only bad thing was that they found out I have heartworms. They said it was not my fault and soon they would be all gone. I needed someone with a kind heart to donate $500 for my treatment and my Prince Charming (who doesn’t want to be named) rode up on his white horse and rescued me. Thanks Prince. I wanted so much to go home to a family who would take care of me after my treatment was done and I found just that with a nice gentleman that said he would also help me through my last days of treatment! I have a new dad to play with and a house with a fence! He comes home during work mid day to make sure I’m not too lonely and we hang out all the time. Thanks everyone for taking such good care of me and finding my forever home. Yours, Pebbles.
