This is Miss Pickels – a very pretty female Great Pyrenees who is about 2 years old. She was picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter. When we heard what a funny girl she was, we had to go get her. Unfortunately, Pickels had heartworms and needed a kind soul to pay for her heartworm treatment ($500). She got a whole family of kind souls – Waldo, Dexter and Ripley Saracino along with mom and dad. They chose Pickels because she talks like Waldo does! She really is funny- and she does talk. You say, “Well, how are you today?” and she says “mumble, mumble, mumble”. Then you say “Tell me about it” and she says “mumble, mumble, mumble”. We think it’s her quick wit and charm that endeared her new family to adopt her! Pickles now has the life all dogs should have and it’s especially perfect for a Great Pyrenees. GPs love kids and now she has three of them to help raise. Dad’s terrific and mom stays at home, so she’ll never be lonely. Now we’re interested to see who in the family manages to translate her “mumble, mumble, mumble” first.
