Precious, a 6 year old purebred female golden retriever, was brought to us after her family turned her into the shelter. It seems that Precious was aggravated by the two small children when she was in her crate and they stuck their hands in. Precious was very submissive. She was afraid of everything and when you called her, she crawled to you… a sure sign she had been beaten. Well, after a few months of love and patience Precious became a new dog. She started loving life and now enjoys walking, running, and playing ball. She has learned to trust people again and loves other dogs. Things are just continuing to get better for this girl-Precious now has a loving mom, a big golden brother, and even a cat to call her own. That’s right, Precious is living the good life these days. Her new mom works at a Pet Resort and Precious and her brother Cody get to go to work too. But it’s not all work and no play for the bunch. Precious loves having a pal to run with and Cody’s happy to have the company. We have a feeling this is the beginning of a wonderful new life for sweet Precious.
