Meet Pumpkin, a 2-3 year old female golden who was found as a stray up in North Georgia. Unfortunately little Pumpkin was moderately HW +. She was about 10 lbs underweight and had tons of fleas. The most disturbing thing is she has a puncture wound on the front of each wrist with chafing around the entire wrist. Our vet said it looks like something like a barbed wire was used to restrain her. The puncture wounds were infected. Pumpkin is a sweet friendly girl who is all too deserving of a forever home filled with love. Luckily Pumkin’s heartworm treatment was taken care of just in time for her to enjoy the holiday season. And now that Pumpkin has a forever home to call her own, she has even more reason to celebrate. Pumpkin’s new forever family is just great. They lost their previous golden about a year ago and were finally ready to open their homes and their hearts to a new pup. Mom and dad met a number of our dogs but no one felt perfect until Pumpkin. With their human children all grown Pumpkin is their new baby and you know that means lots of extra presents under the tree!
