Whoopee! I have a new home! I tried another one but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for or maybe I wasn’t quite ready. I’ll admit when I first came to AGA I had kind of an attitude but who could blame a dog that was living on a chain all his life and then ended up being given to strangers because he wasn’t wanted any more? I’m not a big boy and I’m only three but I had a chip on my shoulder. Thank goodness the strangers were really a rescue group in in North Carolina and they sent me to AGA. The whole thing just scared me so I growled and made everyone leave me alone. When I was staying at the dog hotel and when I was in foster care no one gave up on me even though I had pretty much given up on myself. Every day I could feel myself getting braver and braver and started to think that I needed to learn to trust people again. My foster person helped me so much and she found my new family. My new dad and me are pals and spend the days together painting – he is an artist. Mom goes off to work and we are waiting at the door when she comes home! We have even been to a dog park for playtime because I love other dogs! Now I have a new name -they call me Romeo. I guess you know that means I am now a lover boy! Your friend, Rambo (now Romeo).
