Raven is a 2-3 year old female flatcoat retriever. She has been through the ringer! She was facing death at a shelter last week and once we learned of her and her sweet temperment, we brought her into the AGA program. Raven was pregnant but was in great distress. Our vets didn’t think she could survive another day. She was emaciated and the health of the pups was questionable. In order to save Raven’s life, the pups were sadly aborted. Now that Raven has recovered her new life is just about to begin. She has a great new mom and dad who will be all hers. There are no children at home and no other pets in which to share her affection. Just last year mom and dad lost their beloved lab and after some time decided they needed to again hear the pitter patter of doggie feet and Raven was their girl. Mom stays at home so she’ll once again has her loving canine companion and when dad gets home from work, Raven will be there ready and eager to warm his feet.
