Redi, a sweet 10 year old female purebred golden, was turned into a shelter by her owner because they were moving and couldn’t afford to take her with them. After meeting Redi, it’s hard to understand that reasoning. Redi is a wonderful, gentle, and affectionate dog and now she has a loving new family to boot. Redi’s new mom and dad knew they wanted a senior and came to check out all our older dogs. Redi was the first dog they met but they knew instantly she was the one. Redi now lives with her new family in Macon. She has two young boys to help raise and they keep her young. Mom is a stay at home mom so they get to spend lots of time together. They all go to grandma’s house nearby. She has a pool and Redi loves to sunbath. Redi also takes trips to the family farm where she gets to play with the animals and run all around. We’re happy to say Redi’s really got it good in her old age.
