Well for all of the problems that I had when I came to AGA no one can say I haven’t been patient! Lucky for me I got to stay with a foster mom who was patient too and only wanted the very best home for me. See, when I came here I traveled from another rescue because they didn’t have lots of fosters or adopters and everyone thought my chances for a new home were better here in Atlanta. First of all I am 8 years old and a lot of people only want young dogs. Next, I had heartworms and third, I was not a brave dog. Things scared me and I don’t like being hit or yelled at, not that any dog wouldn’t feel the same! I also don’t like being left alone and I need to take medicine to keep me calm because I get anxious. I also don’t much like cats or little yappy dogs so with this list of “issues” it was a real challenge for AGA to find my new home. But they did it! They sure did and now I am living with my own mom and dad and they are so patient and understanding. I think that’s partly because they know about goldens already because they had a golden that is an angel now. And I think the other part is because they are just kind people who want to help a dog that needs help. Thank you everyone for being patient. Love from Remi
