Excuse me, but that’s not my name anymore! Wanna know why? Because I got adopted! I now have a brand new name, Quincy! I am so happy in my new family, but let me tell you how I got here. My old family was sad to say goodbye to me, but they told me they couldn’t take care of me anymore. I cried and cried–they were the only family I’d known, and we lived in the country with lakes and mountains, a dog’s heaven! Here was the problem: I am only 1 year old, and it can be hard to take care of us little guys at our age. It’s frustrating for both the humans and puppies. I would make mistakes and everyone kept telling me that I needed to work on my manners. Woof! Thanks to AGA, though, I worked on being a good boy, and they led me to my family that knew how to handle little guys like me. When I met my new mom and dad, I couldn’t contain myself! I have a lot of energy to begin with, but when I saw them, I just knew! I spun around in circles and jumped to let them know that I, Remy– I mean QUINCY!– was the right little puppy boy for them. They didn’t mind my energy, and they’d had a Golden before, so they knew how to play with me. I’m getting used to living in the big city of Atlanta, but Mom and Dad are making it easy for me to get comfortable here. I’m still in search for the perfect swimming hole, but perhaps mom and dad’s bathtub will do for now! Oooh, ideas! (Who said I needed to work on my manners?!) Thanks for helping me, AGA. I could not have asked for a more loving family. Hugs, your puppy boy Quincy, aka Remy!
