SAD NEWS: Ringo came to us from a shelter where he was dumped by his family. He was in bad shape when we took him in nearly a month ago and despite doing everything in our power to help restore him to health he continued to decline and there was nothing more we could do for him. He was suffering and, true to our mission, we allowed him to die with dignity and grace. RIP, sweet Ringo. BACKGROUND:No I’m not the one with the drums and he is much older than me! I am 10 and I used to have a family until my owner passed away and I ended up in a shelter. I’m used to living around other dogs and cats but when I got to the shelter they gave me a job with the people, taking care of the office. I smiled at the visitors, showed everyone how a dog takes a nap and sat and watched and made sure everything went smoothly. It was a good job but they thought I deserved a real home and so I came to AGA. Right now I weigh 105 pounds which is pretty hefty so the doctor says I have to be on a diet and I need people to help me do that. Mostly I’ve been called “GREAT” so if you are looking for a fellow like me AND you are into low calorie food- I think I am just what you’ve been waiting for. I’m almost ready for a new home so come and meet me. Your pal, Ringo (the dog)
