Rosebud is a pretty 18 month old female golden retriever who was found as a stray in rural North Georgia. No one came to claim this sweet girl so the shelter contacted us. While with us, we learned that she loves other dogs, is a leaner and a big time nudger! Unfortunately, she had heartworms but thanks to one of our wonderful volunteers who recently adopted Charlotte, one of our senior goldens, Rosebud’s heartworms are no more. She wanted to give Rosebud a second chance just like Charlotte was given. Rosebud breezed through HW treatment and was soon on her way to a beautiful new beginning. Now Rosie has been adopted. Mom and her teenage daughter were previous AGA adopters. As summer approached, they were looking for their perfect match in a new furry family member. They spotted Rosebud on the website, met her and that’s all it took…love at first sight! Rosebud and her new human sister will then have the rest of the summer for plenty of bonding! Even better, Rosebud’s new mom is a teacher and she be with them all summer too! Seems these girls are going to have a great summer ahead!
