Hi friends, Rosie here! My story started on the roads of North Georgia, where I was found all on my own. I ended up at the local shelter, but no one came looking for me. Just when I thought I might be forgotten, AGA stepped in and gave me a second chance. Even though I’m not a full golden retriever, I’ve got a golden heart, and that’s what really matters. In my foster home, I showed off my two favorite sides: my adventurous rambling spirit (always on patrol for sneaky squirrels and chipmunks in the yard) and my snuggly lap-loving side (because what’s better than curling up with your person). My foster admitted it was hard to let me go. She said I left pawprints on her heart.
But then came the moment I’d been waiting for: my forever family! They’re longtime AGA adopters who had been searching for a sweet, gentle girl to love. The second we met, we just knew it was meant to be. Now I have not just one but two human sisters — twin teenagers who give me all the love and playtime I could dream of. I’ve got a yard to explore, long family walks to join, and maybe even some lake adventures ahead (swimming might be my next hobby). Best of all? Mom says I don’t have a favorite person, I just love whoever is closest with an open lap. And trust me, I intend to fill every lap I can! I’ve found my perfect match, and I couldn’t be happier. Love, Rosie
