Roxie, a sweet, friendly 1 year old Golden mix was abandoned in a parking lot. Shy and skittish when found, we can only imagine what this girl went through in her past. Roxie needed lots of attention and had been in our program for some time because she had to learn to trust people. While in boarding, a very gentle vet tech starting working with her. In fact, we would get reports that he would climb in her cage every free moment he had to have long conversations with her. He worked with her every day and we could see how much she had fallen in love with him. We knew we had to make this match happen and we did. Today, Roxie lives with him and has a sister canine and brother canine and 2 cats. She loves going hiking and camping with her new DAD but most of all, she is just happy to knows she is safe and loved forever. No more abandonment issues for our Roxie girl!
