My name is Sadie, and I’m a beautiful 2-year, 10-month-old golden girl weighing about 52 pounds. My foster family says I’m an AMAZING girl, and I’m ready to find my forever home!
I came to AGA after being found as a stray and becoming a favorite with the shelter staff. I loved giving everyone lots of love and kisses, and we’re still not sure how I wasn’t reclaimed!
I’m a very sweet, affectionate, mild-energy girl and a total velcro dog. I’m fully house-trained, have wonderful house manners, and sleep peacefully in my dog bed all night. I don’t need a crate, and I’m great on leash. I know my name, some commands, and have good recall, too!
I’m happy and excited when I see dogs and kids while we’re out, although I haven’t interacted directly with either yet. But we seem to think I would do just fine with both.
I love walks, and I also discovered that I LOVE running and playing in a fenced yard when I visited one recently. So, having a fenced yard would be wonderful for me, but it is not required as long as I get my daily adventures.
I’m simply a really good girl who wants to be close to her people. I’ve got so much love to give, and I’m ready to share it with my forever family! With kisses and happy tail wags, Sadie
