Meet Miss Sallie – a 6 year old female golden who was found roaming around Alabama with a blue collar on with Sallie written on it in magic marker. Nothing else. We told Sallie that it is good to have a name and that soon she would have a family too! And now we have found this grand dame a new home! When she arrived at her new home she was greeted with many new toys, a nice pink leash and collar, and a fabulous new bed. Sallie took to the kids immediately… particularly the 8 year old boy. She went exploring with him and found a rocking horse that she was scared of so the little boy made Dad put it in the basement immediately so Sallie didn’t have to deal with it. She’ll be getting a new name once she gets acclimated. But we couldn’t have found this southern belle a better home!
