Sam L. is a 2 year old purebred male golden retriever who was surrendered by his former owner because Sam was given to him as a gift and he didn’t want a dog! He felt he was too large to be inside so he was banished Sam to the backyard where he got bitten by a mosquito and got heartworms because he wasn’t on heartworm preventative. So we needed to get Sam well and thanks to his new friends, Steven, David and King, he is now the perfect picture of health! And Sam’s upswing in life has only continued – he has a new best friend who’s name is dad! Yes, our sweet Sam has been adopted and he thinks his new dad is just grrrefffic (of course, we agree). Dad is retired so Sam and and dad will have lots of time together. In fact, Sam’s is already planning a pool party at his new house in celebration of his adoption – now he just needs to tell dad!
