Sam is an 11 year old purebred yellow lab. Yes, that’s right, a purebred yellow lab. We were asked by another rescue to take him because he looked more golden than lab. We agreed based on this picture then we saw him and found his AKC paperwork confirming he is a lab. Either way, he deserved a better life. He said that “time constraints, children, activities, travel, and my unemployment make it extremely difficult to provide Sam with the attention he so richly deserves.” We promised to find this great boy that special home. So … we did! Now this boy is turning tricks for his new family. He is even showing them how he holds a biscuit on his nose! His new family consists of a groovy new mom and 2 canine siblings named Hilda and Tessa. Hilda is a 5 year old lab/akita mix and Tessa is a 4 year old shepherd/sheltie mix. Recently, they lost their 14 year old golden sibling and needed a little seniority and wisdom in the house! Sam was happy to play the part and now he is living the life he deserves – without his golden suit!
