Sammy is a purebred 6 year old male golden retriever who is an absolute love bug who came to us from a Charleston rescue. He has thunderphobia and gets scared when a storm is approaching. He also craves petting and loves to be around his people. In fact, he thinks he is a lap dog and we haven’t told him otherwise and we don’t think his new dad will tell him any different. Sammy has been adopted by a wonderful gentleman who recently lost his beloved golden. Dad loves to loves his goldens, so Sammy is going to be one lucky boy. Dad is retired so Sammy will rarely be alone. In fact, dad usually takes his golden with him everywhere. Before long Sammy will be the community mascot. When he gets home he will have his super cool Siamese cat to play with, who by the way, loves dogs. These three are going to be snug as a bug in a rug together and Sammy’s life is going to be perfectly wonderful – thunder or no thunder!
