I remember when I first came to AGA from the life of a breeder dog. I was so scared that I couldn’t stand up and walk. Kind people lifted me up and carried me until I wasn’t so scared anymore. I am only one year old and it’s been a rough one year. My foster helped me understand there was nothing to be scared of and it wasn’t long until my new family adopted me! Mom and dad and I made that instant connection and I was so happy to learn that I would have two kid brothers and two dog friends besides a grandmother in my new home. And the bonus which I wasn’t expecting is that my new mom is a dog doctor and knows exactly what I need. I’m quickly turning into a real golden retriever and my happy smile gets bigger every day.
