This is Savannah Jean… a wonderful, active 8 year old female golden. She is the sad product of a divorce and hard times. Savannah is a great family dog and she’s quite used to overcoming hurdles. Early in her life she took a spill from a roof but she had no ill effects other than not liking roofs anymore. Savannah is definitely a trooper and we knew that once she found the right forever home Savannah’s tail would be back in full swing. When it came to finding her a family Savannah told us she’d like a family who would take her swimming…. her name is Savannah so she would like to see the beach. So we found Savannah a forever family that will introduce her to all the good things in life she had never known before. Savannah was adopted by a wonderful mom and dad who are both retired and spoil their dogs rotten. They also have a 7 year old dog Bear who is already Savannah’s best friend. Bear has told Savannah all about their summers at the beach in Florida and 8 year old Billy, mom and dad’s grandson, who comes to visit. Savannah is so happy in her new life. She plans to live up her senior years in style, relaxing by the ocean and chasing tennis balls into the water. Life for Savannah has never been so golden.
