Scout, a one year old purebred male golden,had an owner who took him to a shelter with little explanation except they lived in an apartment. Scout probably got too big and it was clear that he had not been taught his doggy manners. A family who had recently lost their dog was looking for a new family member and Scout looked like a dog they would like to meet. The whole family went to the vet’s office (since Scout had recently been neutered) and had a face to face meeting. Everyone fell in love especially when Scout showed them he could sit. Scout went to his new home and loves playing with his two kids. Dad and Mom have told him that they will get him a doggy playmate when he is ready to share all his new toys. Scout said OK as soon as he chews them all up.
