Miss Sequoia is a beautiful senior golden whose family moved to another city and found a home that wouldn’t allow for a golden in her golden years. Sequoia is 10 years old. She is a little stiff with arthritis and sore hips but her meds help her. Sequoia just needed a home and family to love and after a few months in the program she has finally found a forever home well worth the wait. Sequoia was adopted by a couple of true dog lovers who both work from home. She now has a big house in Marietta with a swimming pool and big fenced in yard, plus a second home in downtown Atlanta if she feels like a night on the town. Sequoia joins a big doggie clan that includes two 13 year old Goldens, Kody and Callan, and two rescued Persians, Dr. Bombay and Rusty. Sequoia’s new parents are devoted to helping senior dog’s live out their golden years in “doggie bliss”. They don’t even travel unless they can take the dogs so Sequoia will never be without lots and lots of love, attention, and affection. All the other dogs have welcomed Sequoia with open paws and she could not be happier. It’s hard to understand how a family could give up their pet after 10 years of devotion. Luckily for Sequoia she has moved on to bigger and much much better, and clearly, she is deserving of both!
