Shelley, a female golden who’s estimated to be around 2 years old was found on a busy country road in South Georgia. Shelley was literally standing in the middle of a 2 lane road and a truck nearly hit her. A family saw this and had to stop. Coaxing her to come to them with the help of some french fries, they got Shelley in their car and took her home. After cleaning her up and getting most of the matts out of her beautiful coat, they called us. And lucky they did, because we found Shelley an amazing forever home. With a big fenced in yard and 2 lab mixes to play with, plus a cat to chase Shelley will not fall short on playmates. Shelley also has a 8 month old baby boy to help raise and a wonderful mom and dad to cuddle with. She’s come a long way from her days on the road, and we know this family is where she’ll stay!
