When I was one I went to live with a family. Now I am 9 and they brought me back to AGA to find a new home. I’ve heard of this happening to other dogs but, you know, I never expected it to happen to me. It’s pretty frightening for everything to be gone that you always knew. But- guess what! It turned out to be the luckiest thing ever to happen to me because when I went to adoption day with my nice fosters I had a big surprise! There was my new mom-to-be who came to visit with her daughter (my new sister). They sat with me the whole time and we got acquainted and we all knew that my perfect home was waiting. My mom works at home so we are hardly every alone – we are a girl team! Sometimes we’ll go on walks or ride in a little car they call a golf cart and we’ll visit people. We live on a big lake too so I will be able to swim like Ester Williams when it gets warm. I will show mom my strokes and how to dog paddle. We have a fenced yard for playing and we are going to share everything. It is the most happy ending ever and my new life makes me smile a lot! Love and hugs from Shelly
