Silver

My name is Silver, and I’m a 5.5 year-old golden girl with a gentle heart and a quiet, sweet nature. I came to AGA after my breeder decided it was time for me to retire from breeding and find a family of my own.

I’ve spent much of my life outside, so I’m still learning what it’s like to be an indoor dog. I may be a little reserved at first, but I’m patient, calm, and very sweet. I think there’s a lot more of my personality waiting to shine as I get comfortable.

I’m good with other dogs, and would probably benefit from another confident dog and a fenced yard in my forever home. I have been gentle and easygoing when meeting new friends.

I’m good with children ages 6+, and a home without cats would be best for me. I can be a little hesitant to get in and out of the car at first, but over time I have shown to love car rides.

I’m partly house-trained and still learning my leash skills, but I’m a good student. It’s been said that I love swimming and running. At about 81 pounds, I have some weight to lose, so I’ll be working on getting healthier.

A patient family who will give me time, encouragement, and plenty of love is exactly what I need. I’m looking forward to discovering all the fun things that come with being part of a family! With gentle tail wags and a hopeful heart, Silver
