Simon is around one year old. He was picked up as a stray and came into the program completely untrained. He would startle at common household noises showing he’d never had constructive human interaction. Fortunately, Simon adapted easily to the house-dog way of life. He quickly learned basic obedience and more mannerly ways with humans and dogs alike. Finally fit for a family life, Simon found himself a wonderful forever home to call his own. Simon now has a great mom and dad, three grown human brothers and sisters and lots of grandchildren that come visit. Simon also has a brother golden, Newt. Newt is 7 years old and couldn’t be happier to have a new pal to play and wrestle with. Simon’s new house has a pool too, so Simon will get to sunbath and swim when the weather gets nice. Simon’s family recently lost their 13 year old Sheltie so Simon fills a very special place in their hearts and home. Looking back to that untrained stray puppy, Simon has come a very long way. And we know his future is sure to be golden!
