Sophie is Showta’s sister and is a 1.5 year old female purebred golden retriever. She is the bossy one of the two and she doesn’t like chickens. Please read Showta’s bio for more information on her. We decided that these two would do better apart – enjoying being the only dog or sharing life with one other friend to play with as long as chickens aren’t around. Now sweet Sophie is testing the waters of family life as she has been adopted by her loving foster family. They intially took in Sophie and Showta, 2 young active goldens that weren’t house trained and didn’t know many commands. They worked very, very hard with the girls and then finally they were able to meet apps. We were able to find Showta a wonderful home and then we started looking for Sophie – then mom called letting us know that she wanted to keep Sophie. Sophie and their AGA golden Rosie had become the best of friends and played constantly. The family adored Sophie and didn’t want to split the girls up as they were so attached to each other. Now, they are two time AGA adopters and even want to continue fostering once Sophie has settled in.
