Spot (like Ink Spot), is an 8 month old female goldendoodle. Mom was a golden and dad was a black standard poodle. She came into AGA when we rescued her and her sisters, Raven and Cinder and some goldens from a puppy mill in Missouri. She was healthy but her coat was in such bad shape, we had to shave her. She will be curly all over again in no time. At the vet Spot was so timid and scared. We sent her to one of our favorite foster moms who works from home and really knows how to care for dogs. She and Spot bonded instantly. Spot followed her wherever she went and cuddled in bed with her at night. Mom is used to our big goldens but when the time came to show Spot she realized she could not give up her doodle. So mom adopted Spot and now Spot has a 16 year old boy to hang out with, a golden sister, Amber, to chase around the yard, and three cats, Dartanion, Bear, and Gizmo. Mom will still foster dogs for us so Spot will also have lots of playmates coming in and out. But one thing is for certain, that spot on Mom’s pillow is, and will always be, reserved for the doodle!
