Staint Francis or Frannie for short, was found with her puppies near a church in North Georgia. She had them hidden in an old shack where the floor boards had collapsed. She had hidden the pups below those floor boards. One day, Frannie traveled from the Shack, across a road and across a pasture to the preacher’s house. It was apparent that she needed food and the kind preacher fed her and then followed her. He saw her family and began to bring food while he looked for a way to save them. He found us and he then gathered them up and brought them to us. Unfortunately, he is still trying to find two other pups that disappeared. But we have six healthy ones and, in his honor, we named them the PREACHER PUPS and all have been named after Saints. Frannie is pretty healthy considering what she has been through. She is extremely thin but that is easily fixed. She is regaining her strength every day and now that she has a forever family to love and care for her Frannie is on the fast track to golden. Frannie’s new mom and dad are wonderful. They have rescued dogs before and all their pets have lived long happy healthy lives so we know St. Francis is in great hands. Mom is a stay at home mom so Frannie will get lots of extra attention and affection, plus extra treats too! Like every good mother Frannie whole heartedly devoted herself to her pups, sacrificing her own health for the goodness of her babies. But now Frannie can rest assured her little ones will be cared for forever and she can finally enjoy all the spoils of a pampered golden life!
