Meet Stardust, the mom of all the AirPups. She, too, flew on the Golden Express from Missouri and kept a watchful eye on her puppies until they arrived safely in the arms of some special volunteers. Stardust went home with her foster mom who is pretty special too. She has a way of working with these breeder dogs to socialize them. Savannah, her foster dog sister taught Stardust how to play, what a toy is and how to sleep on a real dog bed. She has learned to love Frosty Paws and to walk on a leash and loves to go the dog park and roll in the grass. She is learning what is to be loved and cherished–sadly, a new experience for her but she’s learning. Star was adopted a few weeks ago but returned with in 36 hours because she was scared and scratched a door and wasn’t totally housetrained. Star has had a very hard life and she needed a forever family that would be patient and unconditionally loving. This past adoption day Star received a very special visitor, her sister Amber and Amber’s wonderful forever family. Amber’s family adopted her a few months back and truly worked wonders. Amber looked great. Mom and dad wanted Amber to meet her sister. The two recognized each other and instantly tails were wagging. They sniffed a lot and they kissed and then licked ears. The girls went through so much together and to see them reunite was magical. Amber’s forever family felt it too. A few days later they decided to make it official- Star and Amber would be together forever!!! So now, in addition to her very own sister, Star will share her forever with two adorable girls, Mary and Molly. Mary and Molly adore Amber and have showered her with tons attention. They now plan to do the same for Star. Stardust will also have two great parents. Both mom and dad work from home so Star will get all the attention to needs and all the love she could ever ask for. Amber and Stardust look like twins and neither has ever looked happier. Clearly this forever pairing was written in the stars.
