Stowe is a 2 year old yellow lab/golden with a golden retriever tail. Stowe and Buttons were traveling the back roads together when they spotted an animal control officer. Rather than running, they greeted him and offered to take him along on their journey. Sadly, that guy took us to the shelter. Then AGA came to rescue Buttons and Stowe started crying–“don’t leave me here”. You get the rest of the story. That trip to the shelter didn’t turn out to be so bad! Now Stowe has been adopted. Along with his new family came a new name – Stowe will now be called Murphy! He will live with an active Australian Shepherd who needed a running buddy/brother. In less than a minute after meeting Stowe was running with his new pack , his shepherd brother and two dog cousins (one of which is a fellow AGA alumni)! It was clear that this was a happy place for him! Then, Murphy spent his first night in the master bedroom right along with his new mom and dad! His days have been full of a game called “race and chase” with with his new brother and dog cousins. Sounds like a great way to spend a summer day! Murphy has certainly found his pot of gold!
