Sugar, a wonderful 8 to 9 year old female golden, was left at a shelter by her owner. She was so confused. She simply curled herself into a ball and laid in the corner of a dog run all by herself and grieved. Everyone saw her on Petfinders and everyone contacted us from as far away as New Jersey! We were already on our way to get her. As soon as she met us, a smile came over her face and her eyes sparkled. She knew she was safe and that she was going on a new adventure. We thought it only fitting to call her Sugar since she was saved on Valentine’s Day. And now Sugar has found a forever home where she will finally be appreciated and loved for the sweetheart she is. Sugar’s new mom and dad are true dog lovers and have lots of experience with goldens. They came to us looking specifically for a senior and Sugar stole their hearts. So now Sugar has a forever home where she is sure to spend her “golden” years just as she always deserved to, pampered and spoiled rotten!
