After raising puppies, I decided it was finally my turn — and I was more than ready.

I’m Sugar, a retired breeder girl who came to Adopt a Golden Atlanta to start my next chapter. I quickly became quite the popular lady at a Meet & Greet event (I mean… I do have a certain charm), but I was holding out for just the right family.

Then I met my people, and let’s just say, I made my choice pretty clear. After a couple of visits, we all agreed: this was it.

Now I have a home filled with love, human siblings to spend time with, and a great yard where I can play, explore, and just enjoy being a dog.

From raising others… to finally being the one cared for — I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Life is Sweet, Sugar
