Susie is a wonderful, affectionate 7 year old female golden whose owner lived next to one of our volunteers and felt Susie needed to be with a family where she could get more attention. She was alone too much and didn’t get much exercise. (She is a big girl and is on a diet. She is so looking forward to being seen at the lake or beach with her new body). She loves everybody and everything but these days she especially loves her new forever home. Susie has been adopted by a wonderful family who came to us in search of a sister for their 4 year old golden retriever Lucy. Lucy and Susie bonded immediately and she was instantly welcomed into the family. Susie’s new mom and dad are great. They have showered Susie with attention from the minute they met her. And Lucy doesn’t mind sharing the spotlight with her new sis the two are already BFF (Best Friends Forever). Susie also has 2 boys to spend her time with, Blake, 15 and Cole, 12. The boys love to play fetch and run around with the dogs in the yard so Susie is sure to get golden beach body in no time. Susie finally the home and family she always dreamt of and she plans to stay forever.
