Bet you would never guess I was a 13 year old girl. In my whole life I never would have guessed that at my age I was looking for a new home. It was a shock, for sure, when my owner decided to go away for a while and she didn’t take me. Everyone said I was sweet and healthy but I was waaaaaaaaaaay too -shall we say–large– which wasn’t good for my knees and hips. My food was always left out so I could eat whenever I wanted to and if there was food in the dish-isn’t that what it’s for-to eat? Now I’ve been working on a new image and with a little luck I will lose some of those extra pounds. I went to my foster home and they agreed I needed a nice family to take me on walks for exercise and to help me watch how much I ate. They had 2 golden girls just like me that I loved and was so comfortable in this home that they decided to let me stay forever. I’m so happy that I found my forever home so quickly which can be hard at my age and I don’t even mind my new diet and exercise plan. Thanks AGA!
