Teddy is a wonderful 7 year old boy who came from a breeder who was retiring. She loved all her dogs and took very good care of them. These dogs were her favorites and she had a very hard time parting with them but she wanted each one to spend their senior years in the comfort of a home and not a kennel and have their own bed and toys and get hugged and kissed daily. Teddy now knows what it is like to have a warm bed, toys to play with and people to snuggle with. He likes to stand on his back legs and very gently hug you and he is what we call a Velcro golden and it’s probably the hugging that wooed his new family! His new mom is a volunteer and foster with a rescue in NC. She saw Teddy on our site and her heart went out to him. Now Teddy will have another dog to hang out with during the day, a regular pet-sitter to love on when mom is at work and a multitude of foster dogs that will come through his house in hopes of finding their new families – and sweet Teddy will know just how they feel.
