I saw this shirt once that said, “Who Cares Where You Came From…If You End Up in the Right Place.” Well I used to be a breeder dog but now I’m in the right place! Here’s what happened. After I got all fixed up at the doctor place, AGA had a big party for us goldens. Good thing I got here when I did or I would have missed it and I DO love a party! I was hanging out with the other orphans and, BINGO, in walk two people that just felt right to me. They had another golden with them and he told me he didn’t have his sister anymore and he was missing her. Well, gee, I’m thinking- I’m 11 years old- maybe they might think I’m too old but their golden wasn’t a kid either so I thought- m-m-m-m- maybe, just maybe. So we all made an appointment to meet again and before you know it my foster mom took me to see them and I knew when I walked in that I’d be staying with them. Now I have my own mom and dad. I share them with my golden brother, Harley and a new cat friend. Sometimes I and my brother and our cat take naps together. In my thoughts I have given my mom and dad the Golden Heart award for not minding I was an older fellow and knowing I needed to be loved as much as the next, younger guy. Everyday here is going to be a lifetime for me. Love to everyone. Teddy B. (I’m going to have to see about getting one of those shirts- it’s so ME!
