Teddy Pup is a 5 month old purebred male golden retriever. He was “rescued” from a pet store in Miami because he kept growing and growing and could not stand up in his cage any longer. While his price tag kept getting smaller, Teddy kept getting bigger. Some AGA friends asked if we could please help this poor golden boy who was getting more and more depressed and desperate. We all know how bad pet stores are but when “one of our own” is in a pen and he can’t stand up in it we just could not let him stay there! With one of our volunteer’s help who had Miami connections he made his way to Atlanta and immediately into a foster home. You should have seen him try to run for the first time – it was sad and happy at the same time. We had the official chiropractor of AGA come and work on him since he had been stuck in the cage for so many months and he is like brand new. We taught him what true love and commitment are all about and now his new family is continuing in our footsteps. His new home is perfect. He has a new mom, dad and two human children. They are previous adopters of a 10 mo old female golden, Annabella, who is now called Bella. Bella wanted a friend and fell for Teddy hard. Mom and both kids also loved Teddy but it was Dad who had to have this dog…. he was smitten. Now, Teddy will have a stay at home mom, his 2 human siblings and live with Bella his golden sister and Bean Hamster, Teddy Bear Gecko, and Dash Beta Fish. This sweet guide is going to have and give lots and lots of love.
