This is our Tiny Tim. He is one of our Holiday pups and one of 5 boys from mom’s last litter. Mom and dad came from a breeder that decided to stop breeding. He is one of 10 purebred golden pups and the last to be adopted due to a little (well, not so little then) bump in the road. Tiny Tim had to undergo emergency surgery. He had intussusception which is where the intestine slides inside itself and cuts the blood supply off to a portion of the intestine. We opted for surgery only if once they saw the intestine, they felt no permanent damage was done and they could tack it so it would not happen again. All went well and Tiny is now recovering, eating well and happy too in his new home. Generally with little guys we look for a stay at home parent – well Tiny got two (sort of). Mom is the Chief Operating Officer of the household, so she’ll be at home with Tiny and the kids. Dad works, but often works from home – so he’ll be at home with Tiny too. Tiny also got three kids in the deal and a new boss named Snickers. The children are thrilled to have their new dog Tiny – in fact, Tiny is home just in time for Christmas. Snickers is the family cat and she is still checking Tiny out. Although she’s still not sure, we know that Tiny will win her over in no time just as he does everyone that means him. It’s this special thing that goldens have – magnetic charm and even the “cat-est” of cats can’t resist their charms. Tiny and Snickers soon to be the best of friends…
