When Toby, a 1-2 year old male golden retriever, came to us he had not had an ideal life. He had spent most of his days chained to a house. After many lonely months Toby craved attention, so we needed to find him a home where he would have lots of exercise and attention. He was adopted before Christmas but was returned because both his parents worked and their son went to college and Toby was not happy being home alone with no other dog to even play with. But now Toby will never be lonely again. Toby has a new forever home with a mom, dad, and 3 doggie siblings, Dillon, a 4 yr old lab, Misty, a 14 yr old lab mix, and Gypsy, an 11 year old shepard mix. The dogs welcomed Toby with open paws, and Toby just loves being part of the pack. He’s never bored with so many pals to run and play with. Mom works at Pet Lodge so she really knows how to care for dogs, and Toby is already getting tons of attention. It may have taken Toby a little extra time to find his perfect forever home, be we know he’s got it now, and what a great home it is.
