Tomahawk is a 3-4 year old male golden retriever who came in as a stray to a shelter in Alabama. This classic looking golden was just beyond sweet! We placed this energetic, athletic boy into one of our wonderful foster homes and Tomahawk decided he was there to stay! However, the neighbors underneath Tomahawk’s loft condo did not like hearing Tomahawk run and began making his parents miserable. So Tomahawk’s parents realized this boy needs a big yard to run in so they decided to find this boy a new home for their boy more suited to his needs. In no time at all, Tommy Boy had a wonderful new home with a wonderful couple with two gorgeous Goldens. Tomahawk, now Ernie is now their fifth family member. He now has two loving parents who are very experienced with dogs and two furry siblings to play with. He doesn’t really know how to play without a ball yet, but his brother Jack is going to teach him in no time. Dad also mentioned that Ernie is going to be his Happy Tails dog and he was looking forward to get him certified and start sometime in the near future. Yay Ernie! His entire new neighborhood is excited to have Ernie join the fun and all the kids are very anxious to meet and play with him! He is going to have a wonderful life and spreading the love he receives to others by being a wonderful therapy dog! Thanks mom and dad!
